Hey! I’m Hannah.

FOUNDER + YOUR PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

I believe understanding and working with the various circumstances of a family unit is vital to a child’s success.

My goal in each session is to see the circumstances and situations from a holistic view point and offer family centered interventions to address specific needs and concerns.

I HAVE ALL THE TOOLS YOU NEED

I have been working with young infants and families with feeding and development for over 25 years, I have many tricks in my toolbox to find the right fit for your family

A child’s work, their occupation, is to grow, play, and learn how to be in the world.

They are constantly looking to their family, community, and environment for clues for how to interact in their daily life. Sometimes, babies are born with conditions or experience trauma early that limit their ability to interact in the world in the most meaningful ways.

Learning to move and explore their environments, starting on the first day of life, begins to build a foundation of brain development and their unique understanding of the world.

When these first days, weeks, or years of life contain limiting factors, whether physical, emotional, or cognitive in nature, the foundation on which they understand and interpret the world can be skewed.

This, in turn, can alter the way they interact with the people and environments causing unnecessary stress to their neurological system, physical body, and social interactions.

As an occupational therapist, I offer techniques and skills to help reset the nervous system and body alignment to facilitate smoother, more efficient interactions with the outside world. Every child and family is unique in their daily routines, cultural expectations, and family structures. Understanding and acknowledging this gives my approach to addressing concerns and challenges a unique perspective.

My passion is working with families who are needing extra support to help their children grow and learn efficiently and effectively.
